Hi Sean, welcome!

Both forums (should that be fora?) have their strengths and weaknesses, so definitely best to be on both.

Hi,

Welcome from me too Sean to this most friendly forum where "off topic" is the norm and accepted; I'm sure you'll like it here and hopefully join in fully.

Kind regards, Col.

where "off topic" is the norm

It does seem that way, doesn't it? I joined three months ago, based on finding a discussion that covered some topic very well (I've forgotten now just what it was). But I've never seen a discussion since where I had any particular expertise, and felt that I shouldn't just join a group, most of whom I don't know, and chatter away. Now if someone had asked about valve testers, or US radios...

Welcome to Golborne.
I look forward to hearing about all the kit you fix up and restore.
We restore every thing vintage even lathes.

A warm welcome from Rob T

[Geaney]

..and a warm welcome from another Sean - though it was only my Dad who ever called me by that name! This is my favourite forum - the lads have been hugely helpful in getting me up the curve with all this valve stuff.
Cheers, John
