Major progress over the last few days. I found the nasty mica that was causing all the headaches. Set now works fine and the sound quality is great. I don't think I'll do anything more to the cab other than a polish up.

I got an EM4 - arrived yesterday from China - cost silly money but I thought in for a penny as they say.....

Next up I think will be the EICO 950A restore.
