Thanks Gary and Joe. If a wall was built across the end of our valley it would make a huge reservoir then even after a prolonged 2 day summer we would not be short of water.
I think summer has arrived early this year because the sun is shining and I've managed to clean the car without getting a soaking or being buffeted by high wind.
