Re my last post:

Access to the Radio Club of America's other online PDF's, been try to find the root but no luck but you can access the various years and months by altering the URL in the web address bar in your windows.
Initiate one of the links to the Stenode article, just before the end of the url you will see the year and month/page? (Typ. 1930-01) that's the year and month/page?, alter accordingly and search, should return a PDF of that year and month/page?.
Don't know how far back or forward in years the PDFs go, suck it and see.

Hello Mark, yes, I have been trying to find out when the Xtal filter (single xtal bridge) was first used in radio receivers, I had always assumed it was Lamb but evidence suggests otherwise, fascinating all this early stuff.
