Thanks for the reply Andrew, I have one of these hopefully on its way to me, I have no idea what condition it will be in after it's journey, I understand it runs of 9 volts, are the batteries still available and how does the bridge perform in general?
It runs off of a PP9. If yours is the one I'm thinking of then it looks in better external condition than mine did Mine seems to work very well, certainly compared with my modern digital bridge and my Wayne Kerr B421. I think Mr.Beckett has one as well so no doubt he will be able to fill you in as well. The manual for the TF2700 is on either BAMA or VMARS, got to dash back to work so can't check.

It went for far more than I was willing to pay anyway. I've got the manual if you want it.

Yes, sorry Joe I have been after a bridge for ages but always get out bid so I just had to have this one as I am fed up with waiting, it remains to be seen what it is like when it arrives.
I originally was going to go for an AVO Clamshell LCR Bridge but the inductance scale does not go low enough for what I need, don't worry these things usually turn up like buses, the next one will probably go real cheap but that's the nature of Ebay and auctions, I have had stuff of Ebay real cheap and real expensive...Ah well.
Fortunately they're quite small.
I bought a 10 x 8 garden shed, but it's getting a bit full. I'll have to give some stuff to Joe 'cause he's got a whole house to go at
