Rattly DAC90a speaker

Hi All,
Working under Marks excellent guidance I recently worked on an ivory DAC90a at a radio workshop. With help, I managed to get the radio working but the speaker has a rattly cone.

I've had an opportunity to complete this but I can remember was I told to do to repair the voice cone (the glues dried out and its become detatched). I recall the suggestion to use this paper but I cannot recall what to do - can anyone please help?

Ahhhhhhh Rob you build me up as an expert lol.
If you put toilet paper round the spider it should take away the rattle, but it will be trial and error to get is just right.

any contact adhesive is good
but not until the speaker is sounding ok, just dont glue it up and hope.

do not belittle yourself, you fixed the radio's at Cottered, not me!
I just pushed you in the right direction!
That kind of makes you more than a beginner, so the only way is upwards and onwards!

I would agree with Mark etc. you are certainly within the best environment to learn and we will all help - thats what a GOOD forum is for after all.
With regard to learning just remember what I was originally told (and I teach others) with regards to managing projects of any description - 'how do you eat an elephant? One chunk at a time! Its a good thing to remember with BIG projects.
