Dial Stringing Guide

Come time to time, most of us have been faced with re-stringing that elusive and sometimes complex dial string, I know I have, one of my Grundig sets took me over TWO hours to complete just the FM string.

So I hope this guide to over 500 stringing combinations that I came across on "t,interweb" may well come in handy

Is the swear box for when you accidently burn through the cord with your soldering Iron, (yes, don't ask.)

Or when the pointer goes in the wrong direction. Been there, done that, got the T shirt.

Soldering Irons & Dial cords definately don't mix, especially when you've just re-strung a set & have to do it all over again (Guess how I know).

All we are talking about here is a piece of 'string' a few pulleys a couple of knots and a spring. It can't be that difficult.

Looking inside some of the nightmares I have seen over the years.. I think this was how the Underpants Gnomes were employed before they branched out into stealing underpants
