Mr. Hewlett, Mr. Packard and Mr. F.E.Terman

The names Hewlett, Packard and Terman are well-known names in the history of radio and electronics. But I didn't realise the strong association between the first two and the third . . . until I read this:

You're correct: it doesn't work . . . now. But it used to. And that's a real shame, 'cause it was really interesting: I'll investigate. Whenever I make a post with an external reference, I always check that the posted link does work, having then posted the thread.

Down and gone by the look of things. I tried the internet archive and that records the site but couldn't retrieve anything.

I haven't read this particular information but I remember a while ago Al suggested to me F.E.Termans books were a wise purchase. I admit I'd never heard of Terman at the time and only when reading up on him did I find the connection between Messrs Terman, Hewlett & Packard.
