Philco 580 Radio

Hello Everyone, hope to collect this Philco radio that I won on ebay this week, does anyone recognise what model it is?
I believe it is mid to late 30's.

Also, is that a baretter that I see bottom right corner.

Any help as to identifying the model no, etc, much appreciated.

it could be a 580 but i remember the cabinet being diferent but inside looks the same

Thanks Rob t, looks like the one, Is C24 the one referred to as THAT capacitor.

on the diagram i have (philco service bullitin 48) its C4 its the one connected to the controle grid of the output valve via a 490k resistor ( r4) out put valve is shown as V1 type 18a(not the easyist valve to find)

on the ERT is is C24, Rob looks like he is on the manufacturers sheet, if it is a 580.

Paul The one you have is the ERT sheet so C24 for that cap is correct.

Thanks Everyone, I have now collected it, you were spot on Rob, it is a 580, will be making a start on it soon,

A few pictures, and a couple of questions, the wave change knob broke, it was brittle, but something tells me it is not the correct knob, also what is the red and black input/output on the rear panel, I have worked the rest out.
I am going to make a start on this tonight, the seller said it was refurbished 20 years ago, but it seems full of original paper waxies.
