Excellent news!

It says something about the state of the world when your DMM costs twice as much as a DSO scope Smile

The U1273AX is a truly lovely beast, but even with the OLED display and -40C working, it's scarily costly...

Having said that, my favourite DMM, a Tektronix DMM 916, cost nearly £200 10 years ago. I sweated before pressing the "Buy Now" button, but have never regretted it since... good ones still fetch excellent money s/h (about £130+) on eBay...

That looks much more promising John.
Have you tried it? Maybe it works now.
Having a new look at the signals with an input to the External Trigger should sort it.

..and the OLED display appears to radiate RF so interferes with AM. I wasn't expecting that.

Good news and bad news - I now have outputs for the trigger amps but the levels are still too low - and the output of channel one is about half that of channel two for the same input signal level.

So, more work to do but a definite step forward today. Time for a PG Tips methinks!
