There was also real estate activity too.
The police were very interested....

I visited a jumble sale on friday and was fortunate enough to stumble upon a Sinclair ZX80 with thermal Printer for £10.

This one will be added to the very small collection of vintage computing that I have instead of being hocked on ebay. There's a few posessions I treasure and this will be one of them.

Does it work? If not, will it be possible to make it work, I suppose it needs a toner cartridge, or something similar.
I didn't find anything on the car boot sale last week, going again tomorrow!

You can still get paper.
Though the original used a silver paper, the thermal till rolls are supposed to work.

Would you like a genuine IBM AT?
It's got 2 x AST memory cards for EMS/Extended RAM.
It's got VGA, though I'll throw in the EGA card.
Fairly big HDD
5.25" and 3.25" floppies.
I might even have a CD-ROM adaptor and drive.
Possibly has Win 3.1 in Standard mode.

The only thing I've had is a megger for £3. This was at a car boot sale that was held in a church hall. The cars were in the car park and I think it was the weather that dictated the use of the hall.

I got this relay several years ago in a box of "general" radio junk.    Just got round to looking inside.     It is in very good condition with a 10,000 Ohm coil that is OK.   The two sets of change-over contacts are also OK.    I will be able to refurbish the casing quite easily, and even make a new label on the computer.   Can anyone date it, or suggest what it came from.    Connections are via screw terminals.

Thanks. That is the one. It was even mounted on the baseboard when I got it, but the valve was missing.
