Yes, that should be fine. In my limited experience there's what's supposed to happen and what does under real conditions.

The electric smart meter was commissioned at approx 10am yesterday, typical electric usage since then, it came with a remote reader that tells you all sorts, total kwh since 10am yesterday is 9.03 at the time of posting this, saves going out in the rain to check the meter.

Water board not long turned up to fit a meter, no notification whatsoever, anyways I timed them, 3/4 hour start to finish, job done, apparently it can be remotely read, lithium battery plus blue tooth, that's what they said anyways.
