No problem Terry. All I know for what ever reason I get sparks and the fuse blows if I connect the outer metal casing of the AC input plug to the the shield, which is in turn connected to "0v" of the mains tmr. I know that to all intents and purposes there isn't a "0v", both as Mark says are floating in relation to ground, so all I needed to do was swap the connections at the tfmr. Got a bit confused for a moment.
