I've just printed the attached latest layout (August 2011) and it comes out the correct size - about 9cms x 6cms - 2.5" x 3.5". (You can check the pitch of the 14-pin DIL IC pads to be sure). The actual track are 3" x 2", with some extra PCB to mount the PCB. I've attached a pic of the component overlay that goes with this version. (I'd updated the PCB to add an 'idiot diode', a cap adjacent to the regulator, and LED limiting resistor and pins).
