Another note, the Hendrix LP is a modern remaster by Sony BMG and it's a fantastically good sounding LP. A credit to the engineers and a great example of how good remastering can be.
Quick edit: The copy of Pink Floyd's DSOTM is the 2003 remaster and is one of the best sounding LPs I have. Miles better than my original copy and some say it's better than the Mobile Fidelity pressings.
