I wish I could remember - it was a long time ago. We went down/into numerous shafts & adits - wet, cold, cramped & dark. Most in not very good condition. I was the heavy lifter, just there for transport - she was the geologist...
Not easy - she was tiny (even with hard hat & boots), but I'm 6' 4" and not skinny - it's not a large person's favorite place
Fascinating at the time, though...
I still have my box of minerals though (not just from Cornwall).
