That's a very good section Lawrence and I will have serious read thru it. Yes! I know a lot of it, and I'm sure there's stuff I don't, but my memory isn't what it was and so even for what I think I know I like to do revision.

Yes! in the same boat! I feel an urge to try and build a MW one now but I have too many radios to restore, an article to finish, a Wobb that needs attention, radios to try to sell at not too gutting prices, a new MW transmitter (all battery powered) to make, and that's only for the hobby.

Like us all there are a lot of jobs around the patch that need attending too.

So we shall see who gets there first. Would make a nice project, I would enjoy it I know.

Time never enough and I'm pretty active but have other interests and hobbies as well.

I had a quick scan thru and there is a lot of stuff not normally found. A whole section on various turntable mechanisms (not that I would ever need to do an early US auto changer) and another on tuning dials (radio specific to US models.) It was a service manual produced for the US navy in 1942 and 2000 were printed.
