So the upshot is that a Pf is Pf and CM is times a multiplier to get a Pf.

Mostly The CGS unit (for CGS-ESU & CGS-Gausiian at least) of capacitance is the statfarad (stF) which is equal to 1.112650056 pF and normally also 1cm !

Yes I understand ok (ish) for me it's the microfarad and its sub divisions, nevertheless I find some of the early stuff about vintage radios quite fascinating and as Gary pointed out with his CM capacitor discovery it's still relavent when it comes to replacing some of these old style marked components.
