I'd not have thought the factory changes would have made the scan do that. It's really just an integrator they added to improve the sync. Was any of those components possibly replaced between the factory fitting and when you got the TV? I was wondering in case an incorrect value had been fitted.
I'd say C2 should be 100pf not 1nf.
