Hi Bob, the power unit was made by Gerry Welles in 1988. The original unit was missing from the set so Gerry set about making a replacement. The components used were from his existing stock including the oil fill EHT transformer. Same goes for the wiring under the chassis.

Hi Trevor, the camera over emphasised the red varnish on the EHT transformer. I can't remember the firm that rewound the transformer. The laminations are the original EMI parts.
