I've had the pleasure of hearing Lucien play this organ. A good sound.

Interconnections can be the bane of much equipment. Edge (and other) connectors can be unreliable unless done to the highest (= expensive) standards. DIrect wiring can make servicing very hard. Proper professional grade wire wraps are said to be gas tight and give better reliability than soldered conenctions. I doubt that the wrapping seen on things like older Thorn/BRC TV chassis are as good as that.
