I have just realised that this is an odd valve heater system with one 12v valve and five 6v ones. I was assuming it was transformer fed 6v all in parallel circuit but it cannot be.
Perhaps the 12AH8 should be a 6AH8

Ah, 12AH8 has a center tapped heater of course, so it is a parallel chain. Strange valve?
