Odd. That's the link I intended to put in, so something went wrong.
Sorry me old mate, but the fundamental bit about the Lathe Tailstock is that it doesn't go round, so it is indeed a quill and not a spindle.
I'm not sure about wanting a CNC Centre. Would you really want to spend your time sitting in front of a screen programming it all up? I don't think I would.
