Just a little follow-up.
Happy to report that as suggested, my friendly IT specialist was able to install
Virtual Box on which I was then able to run an original Quicken 2001 disk
which installed without any problems other than slightly degraded
screen display.
It’s fine for my uses so many thanks for your two most helpful posts.
