One I am working on right now is the R757. 1996 I believe. I work on a wide range from the earlier valve types through to DAB. I do this for my own enjoyment then selling them on ebay at pretty low prices. I am an ex REME Tels tech from the 60's so I returned to my first career choice. I have been buying faux leather material and up to this one I have matched to the existing colours (or close) THE 757 AND OTHERS REGULARILY HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THE ALUMINIUM HANDLE COVER. THIS THE CXASE WITH THIS ONE. Roberts ALWAYS CUT THE MATERIAL TOO NARROWLY HENCE ITS FAILURE TO STAY ON. GLUING REMAINS A PROBLEM WITH THE FAUX LEATHER TO ALUMINIUM BUT I PERSERVERE.
