Mike has written about two seperate problems. So let's tease them apart.
1: Transmission of a multiplicity of channels, sufficient to re-create the experience of tuning across LW/MW/SW bands in the heyday of these bands. This can be done simplisitically with a mutliplicity of small transmitters or in a more sophisticated and realistic way with a digital broadband TX.
2: Provision of material to send on such transmitters. Mike and others have said it's too late to make actual recordings so whatever we do it wil be a simulation. Possibly aided by historic recordings, where historic needn't mean very old.
