Be very careful here as i bought a tv off ebay many years ago which was some 300 miles away.
The seller was happy to post and assured me it would be well packed.
It arrived with the cabinet and crt broken , a 1950`s wooden set.
The speaker had become detached also and this had damaged things while it was rattling around inside.
The seller had done a poor job packing and it was not even in a box.
This was the first tv i`d ever had posted to me and will be the last.
As murphy v310 says people just don't know how to pack a tv set , the back can be very easily squashed in breaking the crt.
