Seems I am getting myself confused. The box you indicate doesnt need to receive the Freeview channels: the TV does that.
The basic facility she needs is when that channel is on and a demo starts she can press a button and get it recorded. However, it seems there maybe no simple device to do that. If I got a Manhattan box she could and would also be able to set it to record whole programs so it does have benefit.
She's worth it... lovely and a great cook which is a wonderful asset during what for us is lockdown
