Trevor quite right about the Full Format (took hours
) as it made no difference.
Looked at those cheap Set Top Boxes but reliability seems a problem according to Amazon reviews (I dont buy from there !).
Mark its a Panasonic TX-55GZ950B and I got that right as its a great TV: under a year old. Have noticed that there are 3 USB skts one 5V at 900mA and 2 at 5V 500mA. Been using the first one. Might give Panasonic an E-mail.
Only need it so my wife can record Jewellery Maker Demos. That used to be OK as the channel was on Virgin and she could do it on their TIVO box. But JM have come off Virgin, money maybe, and so she has to use Freeview to watch.
Just looked at the Panasonic video and its what I have been doing but never get to the end. Always the msg "No device for TV recording". Notice his drive is USB 2 whereas mine is 3?
thanks Gary
