After swopping speakers to double check, go for the low lying fruit, do a thorough visual check with magnifying glass, checking for loose wires, dry joints, leaky caps, anything looks off, very basic fault finding. Next clean switches, pots, check all signal path contacts, RCA's. Still no improvement get a schematic, bung a 1khz sine in both channels and follow the signal path from IP to OP. Compare between channels. Also check DC voltages, again compare between L & R channels. Also when amp on at low volume give the board a poke with a stick, feel for hot components,use your nose, again very basic 101 fault finding.
