I have another what is most likely a stupid question, but as I do not mind making a fool of myself here goes: -
On the line stage as said the HT is normally 265 Volts, I am seeing the anode volts rise above HT to 380 Volts and then I get the sawtooth waveform dropping the anode volts to 150 Volts. is the current flowing as voltage drops from 380 to 265 volts provided from the stored energy in the coil or is it still out of the power supply and through the valve?, I am wondering what the current is through the valve is it providing 204mA/8:8 = 23mA or is it just half of that and only provide current for the 265 volts down to 150 Volts so it is 102/8.8 = 11.5mA? Plus quiescent of course.
Not sure if I explained that correctly or how i could measure it on a scope?
