I think most of us would be very happy with the apporx £80K (plus allowances) that every MP gets.
NHS Trust chief execs get paid an average of just under £250K: https://www.glassdoor.co.uk/Salary/Depar...O24,43.htm which is also more than the PM gets paid. Whether that's enough to attract people with the right capability when they can earn a lot more in the private sector is another question.
Whether CEO salaries as a whole are totally out of whack with those paid to ordinary working folk is also another question.
