I can only second David's appreciation of another classy piece of work by a true craftsman. In an age where mediocrity reigns supreme and quality is second to profit, it is inspirational to see that such work can still be achieved: work for the love of it, in the pursuit of excellence. The pity of it is that there are so few opportunities for students who may aspire to high standards of workmanship to actually be taught the skills and the mental attitude so essential to success. The days of the skilled engineer and craftsman seem numbered, along with apprenticeships. Will there come a time when all have disappeared? I hope not, but fear for the future.
