EDF out of 14 nuclear reactors they own 5 are offline & Harlepool which is not far from me both reactors are down 1 for gas turbine issues and no 2 for it has manually tripped for a steam leak . The UK now should start to invest more in to the National Grid Capacity to be self sufficient & not rely on the EU

That site takes data from the various real time sources, and parses it into a user friendly format. It is worth noting that just now wind is supplying as much power as nuclear (5GW each). Solar is zero because it is dark at 2am. There are apparently two French interconnectors, rated at 2GW and 1GW. The media are silent about which of these is down. But since the site above shows a power flow to us of 1GW from France, it looks like it is just the 2GW link that is down. But the Belgian and Dutch interconnectors seem to be near to maximum to take up the slack from the fault one of the French lines.
