Many years (about 50 I think) ago I had a Jason tuner. It had switched stations rather than continuous tuning and could receive VHF TV sound too. Horrible thing that never quite seemed to work properly. JTV1? I also had a Jason amplifier (J2-10?) which worked well but got very hot. Can't remember if the tuner had its own PSU or took HT and heater supplies from the amp.
