Hi Trevor, not absolutely sure, but I believe late production VT4 sets were supplied with the AW36-21 electrostatic focus tube in lieu of the magnetic focus MW36-24. The later sets had BREMA IFs. The CTM4 which has the VT4 chassis was always supplied with the electrostatic focus tube.
