Interesting and I guess pretty clever.
No dafter than restoring old radios that few will want in the future
When I worked at Mullards, decades ago as a young man, the boss man who was a big cricket fan rigged a scope to display the Test Matches allowing discrete watching. To me then that was clever and I didnt understand how it was done, still dont. Guess the timebase was frame and then a line scan would be needed as a vertical input to make a raster. Then apply video to the rear Z input and to get a green picture. Wonder how sync was applied?
So if someone can re-create that it would make an article for the BVWS Bulletin.
Of course it could be a dream its so long ago but I dont think so.
