It looks like you did a really nice job with the CBL. I am just completing a similar restoration in a CBL 5 H. I have one last issue that is driving me a bit crazy. The output of the RH amplifier when playing a tape is significantly lower than the LH. When I put a stereo input source into left and right amps they both have an equally high output. So I have tried to focus on V1 circuitry but after days of checking and replacing parts I cannot get any difference in output. There is a cathode balancing control that also doesn't seem to make any difference. Do you have any suggestions where to look?
