User Programmable Standards Converter

Is there a port that can be linked to a PC? Obviously there's a programming interface but I'm thinking of an operational interface. So you can set up the parameters for an output standard with a nice UI. Possibly also see waveforms and/or pictures that mimic what the converter will produce.
