I don't know about a tacho but you could bring your Pye expertise to bare on my P224.
A nice wooden Pye, possibly a VHF3D, is something I'd think about re-investing the proceeds in IF I were to sell this one. What puts me off is that the early, and nice-looking, ones have a reputation for odd-ball electronics and self-destructive monkey-metal parts.
I was looking at that chassis only as I was having ideas about building a wooden case for it.
