Vintage maps

When at work before satnavs I used to use printed out local maps and had a few folders of them, as well as town maps for places I visited often. When on the way home it was not unusual for me to take note of the sun's position and navigate by it to the nearest major road, as I had good memory of their route in relation to where I am. These days it is sat nav but I often find them infuriating as they are still a bit iffy at times.
