Hi Ed,
The article is: "War-time developments in cathode-ray tubes for radar"
Click on the title. I'm also an IET (IEE) member but when I try the PDF button and enter IET it recognises it a Vietnamese institution! If I enter IEE it thinks it's IEEE.
Here's the spec for VCR523 / CV1523
CV1523.pdf (Size: 108.46 KB / Downloads: 8)
It does show green screen and 12" diameter (page 3)
The large photo in my previous post definitely appears to green.
