Posting radios

I have managed to sell my pe80 Cambridge International. I'm stumped though how to pack this in the best way to protect the dial glass as it sits on a slope and is on the top of the radio. I did think about bubble wrapping it and putting inside the case but the dial glass is too big for this. 
Does anyone have any recommendations / suggestions?
