Hi.
Thanks all for the nice comments. The work is now complete with the exception of an EB34 or VR54, the two tacked in 1N4005 diodes though work perfectly and will do till a valve is scourced. I also cleaned up the EL33 pins and base and the crackling on sound appears to cured. All pots now work as they should, the transistor shunt across the Focus coil works perfectly so a 10k rotary pot takes the place of the original.
I'm impressed with the results and I have to say the later B18T etc are not as good as the B16T.
Brilliant set for 1946.
Now on test.
PS the pictures show the results after replacing the video amps anode load resistors.
At this point I hadn't replaced the line osc anode load this sorted out the width. Note the definition.
