Fortunately the owner has access to another MW22-7 it's in another set. I'm hoping to at least borrow one so I can check out my work.
If not I can use an MW6/2 using its own deflection coils and focus coil. A lash up yes but I'm pretty used to things like this. The MW6/2 will easily run at 5KV and give good on screen brightness so although far from ideal at least I can do a test. It's a very last resort though.
