Hi.
Bad news today I'm afraid.
I decided to fit an audio output transformer instead of the frame output transformer as it hasn't turned up as yet. So I removed the CRT from the carton and noticed the getter was milky, that wasn't a good thing to see. I had given the tube a cursory inspection on arrival and did notice the expanded polystyrene had been pushed well in by the end of the gun. In reality I didn't think it would have damaged the tube, plus it was all delivered to me at 23:00 so too late to properly look. So I fitted the CRT anyway only to be rewarded by a purple glow in the CRT gun.
I don't have an MW22-7 or any 9 inch round CRTs to carry on any further.
