Further progress today.
I have now reconnected the mains transformer. Although as yet I don't have a new GZ34 or EHT rectifier I have tested the AC from the EHT winding and fitted a temporary EHT DC generator to check the 0.1uf smoothing cap, all is well and the cap holds the charge well, the bleeder is also doing its job.
A new mains cable has been fitted and the last of the perished wiring completed, time bases are running, RF deck operating and we now are waiting to install the frame output transformer.
