Hi.
We need to check the efficiency of the reservoir to though Jeffrey, as the P-P stage could be cancelling out the hum till it hits the pre stages when the valves are in place.
So Rob I need you to check the waveform on both caps please. Don't forget to earth the earth on the probe to ground. An X10 probe is best but an X1 should be fine with the scopes you have.
PS I'm not available between 19:50 and 21:15
