The Leningrad T2 TV was dedicated to party dignitaries. It was built on 30 electron tubes. The Leningrad 23LK1B picture tube has dimensions and electrical parameters similar to 108K found in TV Cossor. At the same time, a television set was produced for an ordinary mortal named KWN from the name of the creators. It was a very simple device with 16 tubes. In my copy I discovered that the deflection coils were wound on a newspaper, without a wireframe. It is interesting that the Russians produced this model without major changes for 18 years, until 1967. The round picture tube / 18LK1B or 18LK5B / had a diameter of only 18 cm !!! A magnifying lens was widely used.
