NOS EF9 valve?

Mike the pins are pretty corroded on the contact faces as well. May make connection I guess. I do know these bases very well having worked extensively on Philips sets and others that used them. Even changed bases which I doubt many have.

So what you are saying is if it tests good then take no further action? Just clean it up and tart up the metalising connection which isnt so easy on these red series painted valves.
